Maya Cheaitani is an associate in The Spivak Law Firm where she represents California employees on a wide variety of labor and employment cases, including wage and hour class actions, discrimination claims, and harassment claims. Ms. Cheaitani joined the Spivak Law Firm in December of 2020. She is a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association.
Ms. Cheaitani graduated Magna Cum Laude in her Honors Bachelor of Social Science, Political Science degree at the University of Ottawa in 2017. She received a full merit scholarship from Chapman University in Orange County where she earned her Juris Doctor degree in 2020. During her legal studies, she served as a law clerk with Callahan & Blaine. Ms. Cheaitani sat for the California Bar Exam in October 2020 after which she started her work with The Spivak Law Firm.
Ms. Cheaitani is fluent in English, French, and Arabic, she also speaks Spanish. She is admitted to practice in California state court, as well as the United States District Court, Central and Southern Districts of California.
